If you have seen my resume, pretty much you know that I am a Biochemist.  So far I have been dealing with proteins at school as well as at work. 

As a part of my M.S. project, I isolated and purified lipoxygenase isoenzymes from soybean seed using chromatofocusing.  Then several characterizations were performed on these isoenzymes.  These include the investigation of how they interact with the inhibitors using Isothermal Titration Calorimetry, and their stability in the presence and absence of the inhibitors using Differential Scanning Calorimetry.  Click here for more detail about this project.

At present, I am more oriented in Analytical Biochemistry.   Basically I perform tests on proteins.  What do I test for?  For purity, sugar composition, sialic acid content as well as oligosaccharide structures.  I also study the disulfide structure of bone proteins.  Click here for more information.
